1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account on Gleeman™ (gleeman.app), operated by Umbono AB, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use Gleeman. By registering, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

3. Your Account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.
  • Notify us immediately at support@gleeman.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Plans

Gleeman offers a free tier with limited features and a Pro subscription with full access. Current pricing is displayed on the upgrade page within the app.

4.2 Billing

  • Pro subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly, depending on your chosen plan).
  • Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled.
  • Prices may change with at least 30 days' prior notice. Price changes apply from your next billing cycle after the notice period.

4.3 Cancellation

  • You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through the Stripe billing portal.
  • Upon cancellation, you retain access to Pro features until the end of your current paid period.
  • After the paid period expires, your account reverts to the free tier.

4.4 Refunds

  • No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period.
  • EU consumers: You have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of purchase under the EU Consumer Rights Directive. To exercise this right, contact support@gleeman.app within 14 days of your initial subscription purchase. If you have actively used the Pro features during this period, the refund may be reduced proportionally.

5. Your Content

  • You retain full ownership of all content you upload to Gleeman, including audio files, images, and project data.
  • By uploading content, you grant Umbono AB a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and serve your content solely for the purpose of providing the Gleeman service to you.
  • We do not claim any ownership rights over your content.
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to upload and use any content.
  • You may export or delete your content at any time through the in-app tools or by contacting us.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload or distribute any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Upload content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service, other accounts, or connected systems.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Gleeman software.
  • Use the service to distribute malware or engage in any form of cyber attack.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the service without our written permission.
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the service without authorization.

7. Service Availability

  • We strive to maintain high availability of the Gleeman service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
  • We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability. Where possible, we will provide advance notice of planned maintenance.
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with reasonable notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Umbono AB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
  • Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • We are not liable for loss of data beyond implementing reasonable backup and security measures. You are encouraged to maintain your own backups of important content.
  • Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9. Termination

  • By you: You may delete your account at any time through the Settings menu. Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • By us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Where feasible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the violation before termination.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (limitation of liability, governing law) will remain in effect.

10. Intellectual Property

The Gleeman application, including its design, code, graphics, and branding, is the property of Umbono AB and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or other brand features.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

  • These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden.
  • Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved in the courts of Sweden.
  • EU consumers: Nothing in these terms affects your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence. You may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice via email. Your continued use of the service after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you may close your account before they take effect.
